Health profile sharing

A health profile is a public page for one animal. It shows the animal's basic details and its health clearances, and anyone with the link can open it without signing in. Use it to send a buyer, a vet or a potential stud client the health information they need.

Health profile sharing is available on every plan.

What the page shows

  • The animal's name and call name
  • Species, gender and date of birth
  • Its photo, if it has one
  • Its health clearances, with the test name, result, dates and organization

It does not show the animal's notes, vaccinations, weights, journal entries, files or the rest of your records.

  1. Open the animal and go to the Health tab.
  2. Choose Share Profile.
  3. Click Generate share link.
  4. Copy the link with the copy icon and send it to whoever needs it.

On the Share Profile tab, click Revoke link. The link stops working straight away, so anyone who still has it sees nothing. To share again, generate a new link.

Keeping the page up to date

The page reads the animal's current details and clearances each time someone opens it. You don't need to generate a new link after you add or change a clearance.

  • Health clearances is where the information on the page comes from.
  • Client Portal is for sharing a wider set of information with a named client who has an account.
