Data & Privacy

Exporting your data

You can download a full copy of everything in your BreederPro account at any time.

  1. Go to Settings > Data & Privacy.
  2. Click Export My Data for a single JSON file, or Export Full Archive for a ZIP that also contains your uploaded files.

What the export contains

The export includes every record in your account, including items you deleted in the last 30 days (they are marked with a deletedAt date):

  • Your profile and account — profile details, your account and plan, account members (email and role only) and pending invitations.
  • Breeding — breeding programs, species, animals, weights, custom fields, tags, genotypes, genetic metrics, health clearances, heat cycles, vaccine types, vaccinations, vet visits, matings, litters, events, journal entries and reminders.
  • Buyers — contacts, contact notes, placements, waitlist entries, client portal invites, application forms, form links and applications.
  • Business — contract templates, contracts, invoices with their line items, expenses, income, recurring expenses and bookkeeping category mappings.
  • Other — file and category details, calendar feeds, CSV and document import history, support cases with their messages, and questions you asked the help assistant.

Private links (calendar feed addresses, signing and payment links, invite links) are left out of the export so a downloaded copy can't be used to get into your account. You can create new ones in the app at any time.

The Full Archive ZIP contains export.json plus folders for your uploaded files, animal photos, program logos and signed contract PDFs. Invoices are included as records in export.json (payment links are left out). If a stored file can't be included, the ZIP also contains MISSING_FILES.txt listing which ones and why; the records themselves are still in export.json.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data (animals, programs, files, and records) will be deleted immediately, and we email you a confirmation once it's done.

  1. Go to Settings > Data & Privacy.
  2. Click Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: If you are the account owner, deletion removes all data for all members of the account. Team members should export their data before the owner deletes the account.

Privacy

We store only the data you provide. We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
