Files keep your documents and photos with the animal, litter or program they belong to: registration papers, vet records, contracts, pictures and so on. Every plan can store files. Each plan has a storage limit, shown under Settings, then Billing.

Uploading a file

Files are uploaded from the record they belong to:

Animal: open the animal, then the Files tab
Litter: open the litter, then the Files tab
Program: open the program, then the Files tab

Click Upload File, choose the file, and fill in:

Category (optional): for example Vet Records, Contracts or Photos. Categories are set up under Settings, then File Categories.
Description (optional): a short note about the file

Each file can be up to 25 MB.

Finding files

The Files page in the sidebar lists every file across your account. Filter it by:

Type: Programs, Animals or Litters
Category

Click a file to open or preview it. Use the download icon to save a copy.

Editing and deleting

Click the edit icon on a file to change its Category or Description, then click Save. Click the delete icon to remove a file. BreederPro asks you to confirm before deleting.

Storage limits

Your plan sets a total storage limit for the whole account:

Free	100 MB
Basic	500 MB
Pro	2 GB
Max	10 GB

If an upload would take you over the limit, it is refused and the message tells you which plan gives you more space. Deleting files frees space again.
