Tracking Weights

Weight tracking helps you monitor animal growth and health over time.

Log a weight

1. Open an animal's profile.
2. Go to the Health tab, then select Weight.
3. Click Add Weight.
4. Enter the date and time of the measurement.
5. Enter the weight value and select the unit (lb, oz, kg, or g) from the dropdown next to the weight field. The unit starts on your program's setting (program Advanced tab): the litter weigh-in unit for an animal still in its litter, the adult unit otherwise. It's the same default whether you start from the animal's Health tab, the litter's Health tab or Record weight on the litter roster.
6. Click Save.

The weight chart updates automatically and shows your animal's growth curve over time. You can log entries in any unit — the app converts them automatically for charting.

Litter group weights

For litters, you can log weights for the whole group at once:

1. Open the litter from your program's Reproduction tab.
2. Go to the Growth tab.
3. Click Add Group Weight to enter weights for each animal in the litter on a single date.

The chart shows individual growth curves for each animal in the litter side by side.

Editing and deleting weights

Click any row in the weight table to edit or delete that entry.
