Branding on client emails and documents
On Pro and Max, everything your clients get from you carries your program's brand instead of BreederPro's: your logo at the top, or your program name as a text wordmark when you haven't uploaded a logo. BreederPro moves to a small "Sent with BreederPro" line in the footer. Free and Basic keep BreederPro's standard header. See Plans and billing.
Where your branding appears
| What your client gets | What changes |
|---|---|
| Invoices | The invoice email, the payment received and refund emails, the invoice page and the invoice PDF. |
| Contracts | The "ready for your signature" email, the signing page, the signed confirmation, the rescinded notice and the signed PDF. |
| Applications | The public application form, the applicant's copy of their answers, approved and waitlisted updates, and the closing note. |
| Client portal | The invitation email, the invitation page and your page in their portal. |
Each email shows your logo or wordmark, your tagline, a rule in your accent colour and buttons in that colour. The footer names your program with your email address, so replies from your clients reach you directly. The closing note for a declined applicant is the exception: it never shows an address to reply to.
Mail is still sent from BreederPro's address (noreply@breederpro.com); custom sending domains aren't available.
Which program's brand is used
Branding belongs to a breeding program, so a client sees the brand of the program the email is about:
- Application emails and the application form use the program the form belongs to.
- A portal invite sent under a program uses that program.
- An invoice or contract linked to an animal uses that animal's program. Without an animal, the account's program is used when there is only one. With several programs and no animal, your business name is shown as the wordmark.
Setting it up
Open the program, then Advanced → Branding.
- Logo. Branding uses the program logo from Program Details on the same page. Without one, your program name is shown as a wordmark in the same spot, so the layout stays the same.
- Tagline (optional). One short line under your logo, up to 120 characters.
- Accent colour (optional). Pick a swatch, use the colour picker or type a hex colour such as
#0f766e. Reset goes back to the default indigo. - Click Save branding.
The preview beside the settings updates as you type: it shows the top of an email and the top of an invoice, with your logo or wordmark.
Send me a test email
Send me a test email emails you a sample client email built the same way your clients' emails are, so you can check how your logo looks in your own inbox. It uses your saved branding: save first if you've just made changes. Any team member can send themselves a test; only the account owner can change the branding.
On Free and Basic the settings and preview are there to try, and the test email asks you to upgrade first.
Your AI assistant
When your AI assistant lists your programs, it can see each program's branding (logo or wordmark, tagline, accent) and whether your clients see it. Branding is changed here in the web app.
