Weekly digest
Every Monday morning BreederPro emails you Your program this week: what is coming up, what needs your attention and what happened in your program, so you don't have to open the app to find out. It goes to the address you sign in with, at 8:00 in your account's time zone (set under Settings > Account).
What's in it
Each section only appears when it has something in it, in this order:
- Coming up in the next 7 days: expected due dates, planned matings, events and reminders that are due.
- Needs attention: animals in heat (or expected to be), offspring under 16 weeks old with no weight in the last 30 days, overdue reminders and, on paid plans, overdue invoices.
- This week in your program: how many animals you added, weights you logged, journal entries you wrote and imports you ran in the last 7 days. After an import there's an Import another link.
- One thing to try: a single suggestion that changes week to week, such as adding a photo to an animal, recording an animal's next weight, trying Smart Import (on Free, while you have imports left) or connecting your AI assistant.
Every item links straight to the page it is about. Each section ends with an Ask your assistant line: a sentence you can paste into Claude or another connected assistant to get the same picture in conversation. See Connecting Claude.
When it doesn't arrive
If there was nothing in sections 1 to 3 for two weeks in a row, BreederPro stops sending the digest rather than send you an empty email. It starts again the week something changes, such as a new due date, an event, a weight or an animal.
Turning it off
Either way works, and neither affects any other notification or email:
- Click unsubscribe from the digest at the bottom of any digest. It opens a page with one Unsubscribe button to confirm, and doesn't ask you to sign in. Your mail app's own unsubscribe button works too.
- Go to Settings > Notifications and switch Weekly digest off. It's email only, so there is just the one switch. Switch it on again whenever you like.
The digest is on by default for the account owner. Team members get it only if they switch it on themselves under Settings > Notifications; each person's choice is their own.
